Buying a DiscoverGhost theme gives you a licence to use it. You don't buy ownership of the theme. This page is a plain summary. The full text is in the LICENSE file inside the theme zip.

Single-site licence

One production website: one Ghost site on one domain.
Any local, development and staging copies of that same website. These don't count as extra sites.
A site with several languages counts as one site, if each language is a translation of the same content.

You may

Change the theme in any way for the website it's licensed for.
Move the website to a new domain. The licence goes with the website.
Build that website for a client. The licence then belongs to the client's website, and each further website needs its own licence.
Keep using the version you have for as long as you like.

You may not

Use the theme on more websites than you have licences for.
Share, sell, sublicense or give away the theme, changed or not.
Publish the theme's files where others can download them, including public code repositories.
Use the theme, or a theme based on it, in a product you sell or give away, such as another theme, a template, a website builder or a hosting package.

Multi-site licence

For agencies and freelancers. One payment covers as many websites as you like: your own sites and sites you build for clients. Everything else is the same as the single-site licence: lifetime updates, 12 months of support, and you may change the theme for each site.

You still may not share, sell or give away the theme itself, publish its files, or use it in a product you sell or give away, such as another theme, a template or a hosting package.

If you get a refund

Your licence ends when your purchase is refunded. You must remove the theme from every website and delete your copies. Downloads, updates and support stop too. See the refund policy.

Parts made by others

The fonts and scripts bundled with a theme keep their own licences (SIL Open Font License and MIT). The theme's LICENSE file lists them.

If these terms change

Changes only apply to purchases made after the change. Your purchase stays under the terms you bought it with.
