Terms of service

These terms cover buying themes from DiscoverGhost and using discoverghost.com. By buying a theme or using the site, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

DiscoverGhost is independent. We're not part of, or endorsed by, the Ghost Foundation.

2. What you buy

Themes are digital products. You buy a licence to use a theme, not ownership of it. What the licence allows is on the licence page and in the LICENSE file inside the theme.

Each theme page lists the Ghost versions it supports. You need a Ghost site that allows custom themes. Ghost(Pro) Starter doesn't.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are one-time and shown in US dollars. Payment is handled by our payment provider, Creem, which acts as the merchant of record. Creem's terms also apply at checkout, and it calculates sales tax or VAT where required and adds it at checkout, on top of the listed price. We never see or store your full card details.

4. Delivery

You can download the theme straight after paying. You'll also get a receipt email with your download link.

5. Updates and support

Every theme includes lifetime updates and 12 months of support, as described on the support page.

6. Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of buying, for any reason. Your licence ends when you're refunded. Details are on the refund policy.

7. Using this website

Articles and guides on this site are for general information. Please don't copy our content or theme screenshots to promote other products without asking. If you comment or sign up as a member, keep it lawful and respectful. We may remove comments or close accounts that break this.

8. Warranty and liability

Themes are provided as they are. We work to keep them reliable and compatible with supported Ghost versions, but we can't promise they'll be free of every bug or work with every third-party tool. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the theme, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost data or lost revenue. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes apply to purchases made after the change. The date at the top shows the latest version.

10. Law

These terms are governed by Estonian law. If you're a consumer in the EU, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. If something goes wrong, email us first and we'll try to sort it out.
