Ghost says the theme isn't valid

Upload the zip you downloaded, not an unzipped folder or a zip of a zip. Make sure you're on Ghost 6.0 or later.

I can't upload a theme on Ghost(Pro)

The Starter plan doesn't allow custom themes. Upgrade to a plan that does.

The homepage cover is empty

Add a Publication cover in Settings → Design & branding → Customize → Brand. Without one, the Cover style uses your accent colour.

Topic cards don't show

In Customize → Theme, add tag slugs to Explore tags, separated by commas. Each tag needs at least one published post.

/authors/ or /tags/ shows a 404

Upload the routes file and create pages with the slugs authors and tags. See the step-by-step guide.

My settings disappeared after an update

Settings are kept when you overwrite Stretch with a new version. If you uploaded it under a different name, switch back to the original theme.
